Virginia “Ginny” Colbert, Born and raised in Everett, Ginny married, and settled in Melrose where she worked as secretary to the principal at Lincoln Elementary, secretary to the director of Guidance and the principal of Melrose High. After retiring, she became “administrative assistant” to the director of MPS’s Early Childhood Center. She loved helping people – enjoyed walking to the workplace, her coworkers and bosses, the hectic daily pace and most of all, the kids!
