John J Greeley Scholarship Award
John Greeley was born and grew up in Melrose. He was a 1972 graduate of Melrose High School.
He was a member of the Football, Basketball, and Baseball teams for all four years.
He Captained the Basketball and Tri-Captained the Baseball team during his senior year.
In recognition of his athletic achievements he was selected into the MHS Hall of Fame in 2009.
Upon graduation John attended Mass Bay Community College where he played on a State Championship Baseball team coached by Moe Maloney.
After Graduation John became a regular attendee at many Melrose High School and Youth Sporting events.
John was blessed with a friendly spirit and a love for all Melrose sports.
