This scholarship was established by the family, teachers, and friends of Martha Quinn who died of leukemia the summer before her freshman year at Melrose Junior High School. Martha was filled with exuberance, charm, and kindness. Her particular friend, Mr. Charles Carroll, Melrose Junior High School, describes Martha as, “enthusiastic and effervescent and a person I counted on to brighten my day.”
