THE PATRICIA BALL McLAUGHLIN MELROSE HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

This scholarship fund in memory of Patricia Ball McLaughlin was established in 1979 by her relatives and friends. Patty was a dedicated nurse and it was her wish that a fund be established in her memory to assist a High School Senior Interested in pursuing a career in Nursing.

Graduating from Melrose High School with the Class of 1969; Patty received a B.S. (cum Laude) in Nursing from Boston College in 1973.

Patty had a special exuberance for
living. Her outgoing and caring personality enabled her to develop many meaningful friendships throughout the 28 years of her life.

Patty gave her full love and energy to each of her roles in life–nurse, daughter, sister, wife and mother. Each person who came in contact with Patty became a little more richer for having known her.
